Anna-Maria Watz
Head of UP SWEDEN | Stockholm, Sweden
Anna-Maria joined UP in 2023 and leads sales and marketing of UP’s domestic market, Sweden. She has experience in marketing and from the agency world, with a background that includes serving as the Nordic Head of Marketing and Nordic Head of Account Management at American Express, a strategy consultant at Georgson & Co and Comma, and Marketing Director for the Stockholm School of Economics Executive Education. While her agency experience is broad her true forte is strategic brand management and digital marketing.
Anna-Maria has executive experience from both board assignments, most recently chair of the board for EnviroPlanning, and leading international teams across regions as director of marketing transformation and business development. Her industry expertise ranges from financial services, via consumer brands and NGOs, to FinTechs and professional service firms.
With Anna-Maria’s growth mindset and strong belief, having led several brand and marketing transformation assignments, that ‘no brand is stronger than its leadership’ she set out on a learning journey with International Coaching Federation in 2018 and now holds the ACC ICF Coaching Credentials and have +200 hours experience in coaching leaders on strategy, culture and leadership. With this experience she has developed a unique set of workshop tools for business and brand strategy where she challenges management teams and boards of directors.
