Season's Greetings from UP

As we mark the fifth anniversary of our Season’s Greetings initiative, we’re celebrating something at the heart of every community: the traditions that make this time of year meaningful.

Across UP THERE, EVERYWHERE, our team members live and work in over 20 countries — each with their own ways of welcoming the season. Some traditions are centuries old. Others are personal rituals passed down through families. Some are brand new, created in moments that matter. But together, they reveal something important about who we are as a global community: diverse in culture, united in spirit.

This year, our team members have shared their own traditions — from festive foods and regional customs to quiet moments of reflection and small acts of togetherness. You’ll find stories shaped by winter snow and summer sunshine, by bustling cities and quiet coastlines. Each one offers a window into how people around the world celebrate, gather, pause, and give thanks.

A Season of Meaningful Impact

We’re also continuing a tradition of our own. For every contribution to this year’s message, we’ve planted a tree through our global partnership with Evertreen. It’s a simple, tangible way to honour our members’ stories while giving something meaningful back to the planet we all share.

From Scandinavia to South America, from Europe to Asia, these traditions remind us that while we may be spread across continents, we are connected by curiosity, creativity, and a desire to make a positive difference — together.
