Cheshire and Warrington Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) have appointed UP THERE, EVERYWHERE, as their external partner to assist in an External Perceptions and Stakeholder project assignment.

The Cheshire and Warrington LEP have developed a strategic economic plan that sets out ambitious plans to grow the Cheshire and Warrington area to a £50 billion a year economy by 2040. It already has one of the strongest and best performing economies in England, and the strongest in the North of England, with workforce productivity levels rivalling those generated anywhere in England outside of the capital.

UP THERE, EVERYWHERE (UP) is a global brand, marketing and digital agency, with a specialism in the place branding and marketing area. Other clients of UP include the city of Stockholm, Sweden, the Dutch Government and the region of Basel in Switzerland.

Julian Stubbs, who is the head of place branding and marketing at UP said ‘We are truly delighted to have won this assignment and to get to work with the team at Cheshire & Warrington. Research and understanding is always the first step in developing a solid strategy for a place or destination. This assignment will be an interesting and crucial first step in the process.’

Catherine Walker, Communications and Marketing Director for Cheshire and Warrington Local Enterprise Partnership, said ‘We are delighted to have appointed UP to help us with this first phase of work, that will be a study around external awareness and perceptions. We’re all excited to get started with them.’
