Although working for a cloud-based agency may mean that members work from wherever, without a central office to gather in daily, it doesn’t mean UP members never gather.
On 3 May 2012, over 30 UP* members met at Stockholm Fotografiska Museum for the agency’s third Swedish meeting. The group met to discuss business strategies and review the new digital tools the company is using to work through the cloud.
Julian Stubbs, one of the founders of UP added, “Although we work through the cloud in distributed teams that could be located in Stockholm, Amsterdam, Boston or LA, meeting up occasionally helps solidify partnerships and create closer working bonds.”
The company strives to hold several UP in-person meetings in various locations throughout the year.
