The recent  Russian military invasion of the Ukraine has many people around the world grappling with feelings. UP members among them. The question becomes, what to say about it. Saying nothing doesn’t quite seem appropriate – as if it isn’t happening. Saying something, as everyone has experienced, can go rapidly wrong.

Here is what we have decided to say.

UP THERE, EVERYWHERE is made up of members from all over the world. We spend our days together, in the cloud. This reminds us on a daily basis that even if we are in different countries, different time zones, different parts of the world, we are all connected. And we are all human beings, trying to do the best we can in this life.

We have friends, family, children. We have good times and bad. We have health and we have sickness. We have clients for whom who we always strive to do our best. And when those to whom we feel innately connected are struggling, we feel the need to at least be there for them.

There are times when nobody knows how to react, what to do, how to help. We don’t want to steer you in any direction, or even suggest that you need to do anything at all. But if you do want to help, we have included a link from NPR that offers up multiple organizations that are set-up with the tools and the know-how to provide direct assistance.

Kindness speaks volumes. Even if you are against donations, take a minute to be kind to someone. We never know what somebody else is going through.

And if you are out there anywhere and need a pick-me-up, just look up to the sky. Pick out a cloud and know, we are UP THERE, EVERYWHERE, we are thinking of you, wishing the very best is yet to come.
